Job summary

Google LLC is seeking a Program Manager to lead complex, multi-disciplinary data center projects from start to finish. You will coordinate requirements, schedules, risks, and cross-functional communication across offices, time zones, and hemispheres.

You will drive strategic program controls, establish influence, and optimize processes to deliver significant business impact for greenfield, brownfield, co-location and retrofit facilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
• 5 years of experience in data center construction, leading cost management, project controls or cost estimation.
• 5 years of experience working with multinational technical construction programs/projects.
• Experience with cost management, cost planning and estimation, negotiation, and project procurement.

Responsibilities

• Drive financial alignment for data center projects across the assigned sub region and in line with the global project controls framework.
• Be the primary contact for cost controls, funding matters and ensuring financial oversight.
• Support megascale development and leverage vendor relationships to reduce costs and accelerate delivery.
• Streamline program-level activities to improve efficiency, cycle times, reliability and on-time delivery.
