Job summary

Ken's Foods, Inc. is seeking a dedicated production team member for the cup line in Las Vegas. You will oversee line operations, ensure GMP compliance, and coordinate with the Packaging Team Lead to maintain quality and efficiency.

Responsibilities include quality control, receiving product from processing, packaging and dispatch to Warehouse, and maintaining safety standards in a fast-paced environment. Experience with GMPs and food safety preferred.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of GMP policies and food safety standards.
• Ability to monitor and enforce quality on the production line.
• Experience guiding a team and coordinating with a lead or supervisor.

Responsibilities

• Oversee cup line operations and equipment while maintaining product quality.
• Lead and support team members in adherence to GMPs and plant rules.
• Assist with receiving product, packaging, and shipping to the Warehouse in good condition.
• Ensure compliance with SQF, security, GMP policies and safety procedures.

Produce the largest amount of quality product possible while complying with all production and safety guidelines.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:

• Must have knowledge of cup line operations (including operation of equipment, washouts, CIPs, product changeovers, package changeovers, etc).
• Demonstrate ability to oversee a team and work closely with Packaging Team Lead
• Must be able to identify, communicate and resolve quality
• Must be able to lead courageously under the directive of the Team Leader
• Maintain quality standards
• Assist all team members in assuring adherence to General Manufacturing Practices (GMP's), all safety rules, as well as plant rules and
• Assist with overseeing the process of receiving product from the processing department, packaging the product and sending it to the Warehouse in quality, shippable, finish product
• Ensures compliance with corporate standards and systems to monitor food safety, food safety culture, quality and facility cleanliness
• Other duties as assigned

FOOD SAFETY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Producing product free of contamination
• Following all Ken's Foods SQF, Security and GMP policies
• Reporting any suspicious activities anywhere in or around the plant
• Inspection of work area for any possible product contamination issues on a continuous basis

SKILLS AND ABILITIES

Language Skills

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of Team Members.

Mathematical Skills

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.

Reasoning Ability

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
