We are responsible for implementing a new go-to-market strategy within the US Sanofi Vaccines business unit and are seeking several area business managers to join us.

The Sanofi Vaccines team aims to remain an industry leader through evolving our operations and building a new business model that is responsive to fast-changing customer needs and environment. This model will support growth in HCPs vaccine programs, engage customers effectively, and reward high performers and business growth.

The ABM will engage in account-based B2B interactions within customer segments (Pediatrics, Family/General Practice, IDN/IHNs, Health Systems, and Federally Qualified Health Centers), presenting clinically focused messages to grow revenue and achieve portfolio goals.

The ABM will act as an “account orchestrator” to provide a cohesive customer experience and improve outcomes by leveraging cross-functional support from internal teams. The role requires initiative, drive, independence, and ownership of their business goals, ensuring results are achieved with integrity and compliance.

Main Responsibilities
  1. Grow portfolio share and revenue, and deliver on product goals.
  2. Be a therapeutic area expert, effectively positioning and differentiating products.
  3. Collaborate with key stakeholders such as Medical Science Liaisons, Market Access, strategic account managers, Hospital business managers, etc.
  4. Identify market trends, develop strategies supporting brand and corporate objectives, and ensure account success.
  5. Use data insights to help HCPs operate more effectively.
  6. Determine optimal ABM strategies leveraging AI and digital tools.
  7. Drive results by identifying opportunities and developing strategic plans.
  8. Understand and differentiate portfolio contracting options and competitive offerings.
  9. Support operational needs such as pricing analysis, product shipping, and contract compliance.
  10. Adapt to changing environments and sales methodologies, including remote selling.
  11. Organize and execute local promotional programs and activities.
  12. Maximize the budget to support strategies and business growth.
  13. Participate in industry congresses, meetings, and conferences to support sales success.
About You
Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 3+ years of pharmaceutical, life sciences, or B2B sales experience (preferred)
  • Understanding of healthcare environment, decision-making, and market trends
  • Experience in B2B environment with success in influencing decision makers
  • Strong commercial acumen, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to navigate a hybrid environment and adjust priorities
  • Experience with omnichannel customer engagement and data analytics
  • Passion for science and healthcare trends
  • Ability to execute initiatives, provide feedback, and prioritize multiple products
  • Field sales experience with success influencing decision makers
  • Self-organized with excellent planning skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to operate a vehicle
Preferred Skills & Experience
  • Graduate degree
  • 5+ years of pharma/biotech/medical device sales, with B2B experience
  • Account management experience (preferred)
  • Enhanced digital skills
  • Strong clinical knowledge
  • Experience in Market Access, Pricing, Contracting, or Finance
  • Proficiency with MS Office and customer management databases
