We're seeking an experienced and results-driven
Area Business Manager (ABM) to drive sales growth and product utilization for its asthma biologic treatment in the
Pulmonology space. The ABM will engage pulmonologists and other key healthcare stakeholders in the
Albany, NY region to deliver clinically relevant messages and exceed product performance goals. The ideal candidate has a strong record in biologic or specialty pharmaceutical sales and thrives in a collaborative, compliance-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with Pulmonologists and key healthcare providers.
- Effectively communicate clinical benefits and product differentiation of asthma biologic therapies.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Regeneron counterparts, Market Access, Medical Science Liaisons, and Field Reimbursement teams.
- Organize and lead promotional programs and speaker engagements in alignment with strategic objectives.
- Analyze territory business data and create targeted business plans.
- Provide training and in-servicing to office staff and biologic coordinators.
- Stay informed on scientific developments, treatment trends, and payer dynamics.
- Represent Sanofi at medical conferences, regional congresses, and local market meetings.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university.
- Minimum 3+ years of pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical device sales experience.
- Proven sales success in complex, competitive markets.
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel regularly within territory.
- Strong knowledge of healthcare compliance and pharmaceutical regulatory standards.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience selling subcutaneous or IV biologics, preferably for chronic immune-mediated diseases.
- Prior experience in Pulmonology, Allergy/Immunology, or related specialties (e.g., Asthma, Atopic Dermatitis, MS, Crohn's Disease).
- Experience calling on Pulmonologists specifically.
- Co-promotion experience highly valued.
- Strong scientific acumen with an aptitude for communicating complex information effectively.
- Previous experience in launching new products or expanding indications.
