Job summary

The Illinois Department of Children and Family Services is seeking an experienced Area Administrator of Permanency Services. This role will oversee Permanency Team Supervisors delivering comprehensive child welfare services across the region.

You will influence regional planning, coordinate with other facilities, and drive operational improvements to benefit children and families in Illinois. Ideal candidates bring an MSW or related master’s degree, strong leadership, and 5 years of admin child

Qualifications

• Requires MSW or master’s degree in a related human services field, business administration, or a juris doctorate.
• Five years of progressively responsible administrative child welfare experience with a master’s degree, or four years with an MSW.

Responsibilities

• Plans, develops, and oversees administration of comprehensive child welfare services for the region.
• Directs, coordinates, and reviews activities of program personnel.
• Advises on policy development and program implementation within area of oversight.
