Job summary

Twenty Four Seven Hotels is seeking an experienced Area Hotel Accounting Manager to oversee accounting operations for two Cambria properties: Cambria Hotel LAX and Cambria Hotel Burbank Airport. The role reports to corporate finance and ensures accurate financial reporting, revenue controls, and compliance with company policies.

Qualifications include a bachelor's degree in accounting/finance, 3–5 years in hospitality accounting, and proficiency with ProfitSage and advanced Excel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field preferred.
• 3–5 years of accounting experience, preferably within the hospitality industry.
• Strong knowledge of income audit, accounts receivable, cash management and financial reporting.
• Experience with hotel accounting systems and ProfitSage preferred.
• Advanced Excel skills and strong attention to detail.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to travel periodically between Cambria LAX and Cambria Burbank.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily income audit, cash management, and revenue reconciliation processes for both properties.
• Review and reconcile guest ledger, A/R ledger, deposits, credit card transactions, and daily revenue reports.
• Manage accounts receivable, guest and group billing, collections, and chargeback administration.
• Support month-end close activities, including account reconciliations, accruals, journal entries, and financial reporting.
• Partner with General Managers and department leaders to resolve accounting discrepancies and improve financial controls.
• Ensure compliance with company accounting procedures, cash handling policies, and financial reporting standards.
• Analyze financial data and provide recommendations to improve operational and financial performance.
• Serve as a liaison between hotel leadership and the Corporate Finance team.
