Primary Duties:

Our caregivers provide companionship and personal care to enhance our clients’ quality of life. Responsibilities include:

1. Maintaining a clean, safe, and healthy environment, including light cleaning and laundry;
2. Assisting with personal care activities as per the client’s Plan of Care, such as hygiene, ambulation, eating, dressing, and transfers;
3. Preparing meals and supporting nutritional needs;
4. Documenting and reporting changes in the client’s condition;
5. Performing additional activities as needed, including:

• Assisting with devices like wheelchairs, walkers, or Hoyer lifts;
• Supporting prescribed exercises;
• Coaching household routines to family members;
• Monitoring fluid intake/output and vital signs;
• Keeping health records and observing behavioral changes.

Assist with medication self-administration tasks, including delivering medication, reading labels, helping with intake, and documenting assistance. Follow infection control policies and all procedures outlined in our manuals.

Qualifications:

At least two years’ experience in client homes or care facilities is preferred. Must have strong interpersonal and communication skills, and a valid driver’s license with reliable transportation.
