Job summary

Loyola Medicine in Maywood, IL is seeking an experienced ARDMS‑registered Ultrasound Technologist II to join the Breast Imaging and General Ultrasound team. You will perform breast ultrasound, guided biopsies, and whole breast ultrasound under radiologist supervision to support accurate diagnosis and patient‑centered care.

Role requires 5 years of related experience, ARDMS credentials, and CPR certification.

Qualifications

• ARDMS‑registered ultrasound degree is required or equivalent training.
• Graduate from AMA approved two‑year ultrasound program or equivalent.
• Graduate of a CAAHEP approved Ultrasound Technology program.
• Minimum of 5 years of related experience required.
• CPR certification from American Heart Association required.
• Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) with Abdomen/Ob/Gyn or PS
• Must communicate effectively at all organizational levels.
• Strong proficiency in ultrasound principles and techniques.
• Experience in General Ultrasound and Breast Imaging preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform breast ultrasound‑guided biopsies and diagnostic mammography ultrasound.
• Conduct whole breast ultrasound as part of imaging coverage.
• Support accuracy in imaging to aid diagnosis and patient care.
