Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Facilitate the ARD process ensuring compliance with federal and state policies.
• Coordinate and monitor development and implementation of IEPs.
• Serve as a liaison between school and families on the ARD process.

Skills

Knowledge of IDEA, Section 504, and Texas Education Code related to special education

Strong understanding of ARD/IEP processes and compliance requirements

Ability to interpret data and translate into instructional planning

Effective communication and conflict resolution skills

Strong organizational and time management skills

Ability to facilitate collaborative meetings and build consensus

Proficiency with TEA systems
