Job summary

Delta-Leasing,-LL in Deadhorse, Alaska, seeks a Yard Hand to maintain yard operations in a challenging Arctic environment. You will support field logistics, operate heavy equipment, and assist with snow removal and equipment readiness under a rotational 3 weeks on / 3 weeks off schedule.

Requirements include a valid Class A CDL with a clean record and 2+ years of heavy equipment experience. This position demands outdoor work in extreme cold and safe, efficient handling of heavy loads.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL with a clean driving record.
• 2+ years of experience operating heavy equipment (loaders, forklifts, etc.).
• Ability to lift 75+ lbs., work outdoors in Arctic conditions, and perform strenuous physical tasks.
• Willingness to work a rotational schedule (3 weeks on / 3 weeks off).

Responsibilities

• Assist Equipment Coordinator with yard organization, snow removal, jump-starting equipment, and related tasks to ensure vehicle and equipment readiness.
• General yard maintenance of grounds and buildings.
• Responsible for yard organization of inventory.
• Support of Light and Heavy Duty Mechanics.
• Loading and delivering materials and equipment.
• Use of hand tools, power tools, and machines.
• Operate forklifts, loaders, and non-mobile equipment.
• Snow removal activities.
• Perform equipment Check-in / Check-out inspections.
