You will ensure continuous functionality of vital systems supporting missile defense operations as part of a dedicated team. The ideal candidate will diagnose and resolve complex issues, maintain meticulous maintenance records, and adhere to DoD directives while improving procedures to meet evolving mission needs in remote Arctic

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related discipline.
• 2+ years of hands-on field engineering or defense system experience.
• Ability to maintain detailed technical documentation and follow complex procedures.
• Proficient in troubleshooting electromechanical systems and reading schematics.

Responsibilities

• Maintain 100% operational uptime for defense assets through proactive maintenance.
• Maintain auditable maintenance records for mechanical, electrical, HVAC, and support systems.
• Refine maintenance procedures to incorporate updates and adapt to mission needs.
• Comply with DoD directives, safety regulations, and vendor standards.
• Conduct systematic performance testing with automated diagnostic tools and document results.
• Diagnose equipment failures, implement root-cause solutions, and verify repairs.
• Uphold environmental stewardship in Arctic environments and extreme weather conditions.
