You will ensure continuous functionality of electromechanical and support systems and work within a dedicated team committed to excellence in remote environments. The role emphasizes adherence to DoD directives, rigorous documentation, proactive maintenance, and root-cause analysis.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Facilities or related engineering field.
• Minimum 2 years in field engineering or defense/WEAPONS system support.
• Ability to maintain detailed technical documentation and follow complex procedures.
• Strong troubleshooting skills for electromechanical systems with schematics/manuals.
• Proven reliability and safety focus in remote/minimally supervised work.
• Willingness to operate in Arctic environments and extreme weather.

Responsibilities

• Ensure 100% uptime and reliability of defense assets through proactive maintenance.
• Maintain comprehensive auditable maintenance records for all systems.
• Refine procedures with manufacturer updates and evolving mission needs.
• Comply with DoD directives, safety regulations, and vendor standards.
• Conduct systematic performance testing and document results.
• Diagnose failures, implement root-cause solutions, verify repairs via testing.
• Uphold environmental stewardship in Arctic ecosystems.
