Job summary

Worley seeks a Scaffold Laborer - Roustabout to support scaffold erection, maintenance and dismantling in a remote Arctic environment. The role operates on a two/three week rotation with an 84-hour week consisting of 40 hours at straight time plus 44 hours at time-and-a-half.

On-site meals and lodging are provided, and transportation between Anchorage and Prudhoe Bay is arranged. Worley offers benefits including 401(k) match, short-term disability, life insurance and paid sick leave.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; NSTC certification training offered by Worley.
• Valid driver's license and ability to be insured by Worley's auto insurer.
• Six months experience as laborer or roustabout in petrochemical/oilfield or arctic environments preferred; prior Worley experience advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Assist scaffold builders in erection, maintenance and dismantling of scaffolds.
• Handle scaffold systems including construction-grade lumber and components.
• Perform heavy labor such as transporting, handling and stacking scaffold components.
• Prepare surfaces or areas for scaffold installation in varying conditions.
• Attend safety, technical and developmental trainings; ensure compliance with specifications.
• Assist with inspections of scaffolding components for integrity.
• Demonstrate safe work practices and support environmental management.
