Job summary

An ecological research organization is seeking a full-time Information Manager to handle long-term data management, including processing and archiving ecological data. The ideal candidate will have a degree in Information Science or a related field and must be proficient in R, with demonstrated experience in statistical analysis and data management. The role may include summer fieldwork at remote sites, necessitating readiness for challenging conditions and collaboration with diverse teams. Excellent communication skills are a must.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Science, Environmental Science, or related field.
• Experience in data management within research, laboratory, or field settings.
• Experience with large datasets and collaboration across teams.

Responsibilities

• Process, maintain, and archive long-term ecological data.
• Work in an analytical lab setting to generate and synthesize data.
• Possibility of summer fieldwork at a remote arctic research station.
