Zusammenfassung

Worley seeks a Vac Truck Operator for a remote, rotational assignment on the North Slope of Alaska. The role requires operating vacuum and fluids hauling equipment, with a demanding 84-hour work week (40 hours straight time and at least 44 hours at time and a half).

On-location meals, lodging, and Anchorage-to-site transportation are provided. Ideal candidates hold a Class A CDL with Tanker endorsement, a valid medical card, and NSTC certification training; NSTC training can be provided by

Qualifikationen

• Valid Class A CDL with Tanker endorsement.
• Able to obtain Hazardous Materials endorsement within 90 days.
• Current CDL/DOT medical card.
• High school diploma or GED.

Aufgaben

• Perform pre- and post-trip inspections of trucks, trailers, and equipment per DOT and company requirements.
• Complete a task hazard assessment (IFWA) before starting any job.
• Follow Worley and client health, safety and environmental policies at all times.
• Safely secure all loads.
• Climb ladders on upright tanks (25') and perform strapping to determine ullage.
• Connect/disconnect 3" hoses to offload/loading locations as needed.
• Pull multiple strings of 3" hose up to 100' for connections.
• Back tractor/trailer into position using a spotter or reference cones.
• Maintain equipment in good, clean working order.
• Communicate with foremen, dispatch and clients as needed.
• Attend toolbox and safety meetings.
• Perform safety observations and inspections.
• Participate in safety training.
• Perform physical labor when equipment operations are not required.
