Beaufort County operates a public library system and seeks a paraprofessional to assist in delivering library services. You will support patrons, conduct reference interviews, and help with cataloging and information resources.

You may serve as a service point or branch team lead, coordinate volunteers, design outreach materials, and participate in system-wide programs. Knowledge of books and reader interests is valued.

Formación

• Requires an associate degree or equivalent to two years of college education.
• 2+ years to 4 years of related library experience or equivalent
• Ability to assist patrons with general reference requests and information resources.

Responsabilidades

• Provide paraprofessional support delivering public library services.
• Lead a service point or branch team and coordinate volunteers.
• Perform tasks requiring cataloging knowledge and writing/press materials.
