Job summary

HNTB Corporation is seeking a Structural Project Manager I in Kansas City to oversee architectural structural engineering through all project phases. You will lead design teams, coordinate with multi-disciplinary groups, and ensure on-time, on-budget delivery for high-profile buildings.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Architecture or Civil Engineering, 10+ years in structural engineering, and PE licensure with SE preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Architectural or Civil Engineering.
• 10+ years of relevant experience in structural engineering for architectural projects.
• Licensed PE with SE1/SE2 is preferred and structural software proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical expertise and project management in structural engineering for architectural projects.
• Lead coordination with multi-discipline teams to deliver design through construction.
• Mentor and develop structural staff, promote quality control, and support business development.
• Prepare proposals, contracts, and documentation for client reviews and MPRs.
• Oversee budgets, schedules, and scope to ensure client satisfaction.
