The Cigna Group seeks an Architecture Senior Advisor in Bloomfield, CT to lead automation framework development for enterprise health platforms, spanning web, mobile, and API layers with accessibility checks. Hybrid work is offered.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field with 2 years of experience; Bachelor’s degree with 5 years acceptable.
• Design and implement automation frameworks for web and mobile apps.
• Proficient in JavaScript and TypeScript.
• UI & API automation using Cypress for web and WebdriverIO for mobile, plus CI/CD tooling.
• Experience with GitHub/Bitbucket, Maven/Gradle, SQL and database testing.
• Selenium, Java, Azure, Python, OpenShift, Docker.
• Experience deploying on AWS/OpenShift and cloud-based testing providers.

Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines with GitLab/GitHub/Jenkins and enforce code quality.
• Design AI-driven automation solutions for validating generative workflows.
• Build large-scale data processing tests with Spark/Databricks and Python/Scala.
• Deploy automation platforms on AWS/OpenShift using Docker/Kubernetes; integrate BrowserStack etc.
• Collaborate with development, testing and DevOps to optimize performance.

Job description

Cigna-Evernorth Services Inc. seeks an Architecture Senior Advisor for the Bloomfield, CT location to develop and enhance automation frameworks for enterprise healthcare platforms using Playwright/Cypress, Webdriver IO-Appium, PyTest Framework, ensuring scalability across web, mobile, and API layers, with accessibility validation (axe-core, Evinced).

Responsibilities:

• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines with GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, Jenkins and enforce code quality using sonarqube, Lint/TSC checks and automated testing practices.
• Design AI-driven automation solutions leveraging LangChain, LangSmith, LangTrace, Devin AI, GitHub Copilot, Cursor IDE for validating generative AI workflows, conversational features, and coding assistants.
• Build and validate large-scale data processing frameworks using Apache Spark, Databricks, Scala, and Python, integrating with SQL/NoSQL databases (Oracle, MongoDB, DynamoDB) for data-driven testing and analytics.
• Deploy and integrate automation platforms on AWS and OpenShift, using Docker and Podman containers with Kubernetes orchestration, and connect frameworks to cloud-based testing providers like BrowserStack, LambdaTest, and SauceLabs.
• Collaborate closely with development, testing, and DevOps teams to troubleshoot complex issues, innovate automation strategies, and optimize application performance.
• Hybrid work schedule.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field and 2 years of experience. Will accept a Bachelor’s degree and 5 years of experience.
• Must have experience with: automation framework design and implementation for web applications and mobile applications;
• JavaScript; TypeScript;
• UI & API Automation framework experience using Cypress for web applications and WebdriverIO for mobile applications;
• GitHub; Bitbucket; Maven; Gradle; SQL; database testing; backend testing;
• Selenium; Java; Azure; Python; OpenShift; and Docker.

Salary Range: $154,024-$231,000/year

If you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload.

For this position, we anticipate offering an annual salary of 138,600 - 231,000 USD / yearly, depending on relevant factors, including experience and geographic location.

This role is also anticipated to be eligible to participate in an annual bonus plan.
