Join the largest manufacturer of tile and natural stone in North America with Dal-Tile, a subsidiary of Mohawk Industries.

Dal-Tile is seeking a dynamic Architectural Sales Rep responsible for increasing market share. The Architectural Sales Rep manages all sales activities from lead generation to closure, focusing on both specified and unspecified projects. The role involves developing and executing an approved marketing plan to meet personal and business goals.

Expected base pay ranges from $80,000 to $100,000 at the start of employment. Actual pay will be determined individually and may include commissions, bonuses, incentive packages, and other benefits.

Primary Objective:

Increase commercial sales in designated territories by engaging Architects, Designers, and National Accounts to secure proprietary specifications for Dal-Tile.

Major Functions and Scope:
  1. Travel within assigned regions to meet with current and potential customers including Architects, Designers, Developers, General Contractors, and National Accounts.
  2. Identify and build relationships with the top 20 architectural and design firms.
  3. Develop and maintain relationships with National Accounts, follow up, and report on activities.
  4. Promote new products during sales calls.
  5. Organize product knowledge seminars for architectural and design firms.
  6. Gain in-depth knowledge of all Dal-Tile products, related products, and installation methods.
  7. Track meeting outcomes effectively.
  8. Coordinate with SSC staff for order updates and sample requests.
  9. Schedule and participate in Large Project Tracking meetings.
  10. Update and replenish product displays with local A&D firms.
  11. Perform other duties as assigned.
Experience and Knowledge:
  • Minimum of 3 years calling on the A&D community or in B2B sales.
  • High School Diploma required.
Competencies:
  • Self-motivated and proactive.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to exercise judgment and initiative independently.
  • Basic computer proficiency.
