Overview

MG2, an affiliate of Colliers Engineering & Design, is currently seeking an Architectural Project Manager - Data Centers to join our Client Programs Market team. This position is open across various US offices, including Boston, MA; Philadelphia, PA; Seattle, WA; Albany, NY; and Phoenix, AZ. You will have the opportunity to work on global and national building programs, focusing on project and client leadership through all phases of design and delivery within our Client Programs (CP) Market.

The Project Manager will lead project teams through all phases of project execution, including contract management, design, documentation, permitting, and construction administration. Responsibilities also include managing project schedules, financial performance, and building strong client relationships, while upholding MG2's standards for design excellence as the main point of contact for project communication.

Responsibilities

  • Manage project teams through all project phases, ensuring deliverables meet contractual, schedule, budget, and quality standards.
  • Ensure contracts are in place before project execution begins.
  • Create and maintain project schedules and staffing plans based on milestones.
  • Develop detailed Project Charters and QA/QC plans for all projects.
  • Assist with project proposals and RFP responses as needed.
  • Monitor project financials and conduct financial reviews with team leads or PIC.
  • Review invoicing and billing monthly.
  • Produce and distribute weekly project updates to stakeholders.
  • Lead internal and external project meetings.
  • Participate in Quality Control procedures, reviewing project deliverables.
  • Oversee construction administration activities, including RFI and Submittal logs, and attend OAC meetings.
  • Review site visit reports and punch lists before issuance.
  • Conduct project debriefs post-construction, focusing on continuous improvement.
  • Manage project close-out procedures in line with contractual obligations.
  • Manage resources to ensure quality and profitability.
  • Monitor team performance, providing feedback and conducting regular check-ins (People Managers).
  • Perform mid-year and annual performance reviews (People Managers).
Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in architecture or related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in architecture or design firms.
  • Licensure or certification as a professional is preferred.
  • Experience leading teams through all project phases.
  • Knowledge of architectural contracts and procedures.
  • Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and MS Office.
  • Experience with collaboration software like Bluebeam, Miro, and Teams.
  • Professional expertise in Data Centers is required.
  • Fluent in English for communication and comprehension.

Compensation ranges from $80,000 to $152,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.
