Job summary

CUBE 3 in Miami is seeking a Project Manager to lead architectural projects from inception through construction administration. You will coordinate design development, staffing, and client communication to deliver high quality results on time and within budget.

The ideal candidate brings 8+ years in architectural project management, a professional degree in architecture, and proficiency with Revit, SketchUp, and Photoshop.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 8 years related experience in architectural projects.
  • Professional Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Architecture from an accredited School.
  • Ability to manage a project in Revit, with SketchUp and Photoshop experience.

Responsibilities

  • Delivers projects from start to finish with minimal oversight.
  • Manages multiple projects simultaneously and coordinates staff.
  • Ensures schedules and resources are allocated efficiently.
  • Maintains proactive client relationships throughout projects.
  • Coaches and mentors junior team members for growth.

Job Overview

The Project Manager (PM) is responsible for planning, interpreting, organizing, scheduling and managing projects though all phases of development. The PM reports to the Project Executive and acts as the main point of contact for projects. The PM executes and monitors staffing, schedules and manages the project team to ensure efficient use of resources; oversees design development, production of working drawings, and construction administration on projects. This position is responsible for establishing client relationships and has the authority to direct, control and monitor all project activities.

The PM must demonstrate experience in all phases of architecture and engineering services including substantial experience in project management. The PM also mentors and leads junior colleagues in all areas of professional and technical development. This position also coordinates internal processes including QAQC reviews and documentation, Design Reviews, and Revit management. The PM must demonstrate professional skill, high standards, sound judgment and professionalism. The PM will pass knowledge to others and support a continuous learning environment. Team building and motivation are also a key responsibility.

Requirements
EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION
  • Minimum of 8 years related experience in architectural projects.
  • Professional Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Architecture from an accredited School.
Skills
  • Ability to manage a project in Revit, but also potential use of Sketch-Up and Photoshop.
  • Superior verbal, written and presentation communication skills.
  • Strong technical abilities to be able to oversee all aspects of a project’s design and construction.
Major Responsibilities
  • Delivers projects from start to finish with minimal oversight.
  • Effectively manages multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Effectively manages project staff and schedule to ensure completion within allocated period of time.
  • Maintains ongoing, positive and proactive client relationships.
  • Effectively and proactively coaches, mentors and provides performance – enhancing feedback to team members.
  • Implements process to reduce risks and exposure in all phases of the project.
  • Directs activities related to construction admin, including scheduling, preparation of shop drawings, field observations, report of change orders, and pay requests.
  • Ensures that CA activities emphasizes efficiency, quality assurance, and code compliance.
  • Performs other duties as required.
  • Demonstrated ability to perform business development activities and assist in marketing activities.
  • Mentor junior colleagues in all areas of professional and technical development.
  • Ensure quality assurance and quality control, including regarding Revit.
