  • Licensed Architect preferred; California licensure strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage multi-family architecture projects from concept through completion.
  • Manage projects of similar size, scale, and complexity.
  • Establish and maintain project schedules, budgets, scopes, and deliverables.
  • Monitor project financial performance, fees, profitability, and collections.
  • Build and maintain relationships with clients and project stakeholders.
  • Lead and coordinate architects, designers, consultants, and other project team members.
  • Identify and resolve project issues, risks, and potential schedule or budget impacts.
  • Ensure teams align with client expectations and contractual requirements.
  • Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to junior staff.
  • Participate in business development activities, including proposals, interviews, and client presentations.
  • Collaborate with firm leadership on project strategy, staffing, and resource planning.
  • Communicate project status, financial performance, and key risks to leadership and clients.
  • Help identify opportunities for process improvements and stronger project delivery.

Position Overview

The Architecture Project Manager will be responsible for managing the overall delivery of multi-family architecture projects, including client relationships, project teams, scope, budgets, schedules, contracts, and profitability.

The ideal candidate will bring strong architectural expertise combined with proven project management and leadership skills. This individual will work closely with clients, internal teams, consultants, and leadership to ensure projects are delivered successfully while maintaining quality, financial performance, and client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage multi-family architecture projects from concept through completion.

Key Requirements
  • 10+ years of professional experience managing architecture projects, with a strong focus on multi-family residential projects.
  • Demonstrated experience managing projects of comparable size, scale, and complexity.
  • Strong leadership, communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proven financial and business acumen, including experience managing fees, budgets, profitability, and collections.
  • Experience managing client relationships and leading project teams.
  • Strong understanding of architectural project delivery processes.
  • Ability to mentor and develop project staff.
  • Experience participating in proposals, interviews, presentations, and business development activities.
  • Licensed Architect preferred; California licensure is strongly preferred.
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced professional environment.
