Architecture Practice Manager - Remote

Job Description

The Architecture Practice Manager is primarily responsible for managing the execution of the processes that comprise Prime’s Architecture Practice. This includes defining and orchestrating architecture processes and procedures, communicating these processes for awareness and understanding, creating and reporting metrics, and driving support and integration throughout the organization.

Responsibilities
  • Define and manage Architecture governance processes and the Architecture Review Board (ARB), including integration with enterprise governance, vendor management, and SDLC, and regularly publish architecture metrics enterprise-wide.
  • Manage and improve the Enterprise Architecture repositories (ServiceNow, SharePoint) and related repositories (Configuration Management Database).
  • Collaborate with Business, IT, and service leaders to ensure engagement and satisfaction with Architecture Office processes.
  • Identify and manage opportunities for practice improvement to continually realign architecture strategies.
  • Oversee architecture RFP content and responses, and manage controls related to Prime’s SOC2, HITRUST, and industry standards.
  • Lead annual updates and communication of foundational architecture guidance (principles, standards, patterns, blueprints) to ensure awareness.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Education & Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, Business, or related; or equivalent experience. High School Diploma or GED required.
  • 7+ years in Business Analysis, Project Management, System or Solution Architecture, including at least 2 years in an Architect role.
  • Legal eligibility to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
Additional Qualifications
  • Knowledge of Enterprise or Solution Architecture development and management.
  • Experience with project management discipline for practice improvement.
  • Ability to work with senior leaders to apply enterprise processes effectively.
  • Expertise in process development, measurement, governance, and organizational application.
  • Strong self-management skills in high-ambiguity environments.
  • Proactive communication skills across organizational levels.
  • Conflict resolution and consensus-building abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience managing Enterprise Architecture tools, especially ServiceNow.
  • Healthcare industry experience, including PBM.
  • Advanced degrees (MBA, MIS, etc.).
  • Previous roles as architect, IT manager, or project/program manager.
Physical Demands
  • Remain stationary 50% of the time; able to move/traverse as needed.
  • Operate computers and office equipment constantly.
  • Hear and communicate effectively; exchange accurate information.
  • Travel up to 10% of the time.

All employees must adhere to security policies and legal requirements. Compensation ranges from $124,000 to $211,000 based on experience.
