Job summary

Ball State University Libraries is seeking an Architecture Library Coordinator to manage daily operations, support user access to collections, services, and spaces for architecture programs, and contribute to an environment that fosters research and learning.

The role includes supervising 7–8 student assistants, establishing course reserves, monitoring circulation, and ensuring copyright compliance; it also covers budgeting, reporting, and providing technical support across common software tools.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
  • Over one through three years of related experience.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

  • Assign and review work, orient and train student employees.
  • Supervise student employees.
  • Schedule student staffing for the Architecture Library.
  • In the absence of the Architecture Librarian and Building Materials Librarian, assume responsibility for security and maintaining Architecture Library/Building Material Samples Collection services.
  • Manage daily operations of the Architecture Library; ensure high-quality research, circulation, and related customer service.
