Job summary

AtkinsRéalis seeks an Architectural Intern to join our Alexandria, VA office. You will support all project phases, develop graphics for presentations, and assist with AutoCAD/Revit markups. Occasional site visits help assess facilities and support new projects.

Educationally, you must be enrolled in an accredited architecture program and have completed 20 hours toward your degree by Summer 2027. Basic computing skills are required, with REVIT and Rhino experience highly desirable.

Job Description Overview

AtkinsRéalis is seeking an Architectural Intern to join our Alexandria, VA office. Your Role Support all phases of projects, from schematic design through construction administration. Assist with the development of graphics for presentations and reports. Provide AutoCAD and Revit support by incorporating redline markups into construction documents. Conduct occasional site visits to assess existing facilities and support new project development. Perform project-related research to support design decisions and finish material selections. Assist with construction administration activities, including submittal reviews, project filing, and document organization.

About You

EXPERIENCE: No experience is generally required if accepted into an accredited Bachelor's or Master’s degree program in a related technical field. EDUCATION: Must have completed 20 hours towards an architecture degree from an accredited program by the start of the internship (Summer 2027). SPECIAL SKILLS Basic computer skills required to enter data into spreadsheets or databases, REVIT Modeling , clash detection and Rhino experience highly desirable.

Additional Information

Expected compensation range is between $19 - $25 hourly depending on skills, experience, and geographical location.
