Job summary

HNTB’s Architecture practice invites Summer 2026 interns to join our Aviation, Sports, and Transit teams in the Los Angeles area. You’ll work on elementary architectural tasks and assist with drawings, studies, and data gathering under supervision.

Ideal candidates are high school diploma or GED with current enrollment in a post-secondary architectural program; preferred is prior internship experience and up to 3 years of enrollment. Visa sponsorship is not provided.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent plus current enrollment in post-secondary architectural or related program.
• Preferred internship experience
• 3 years of enrollment in post-secondary architectural program
• Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.

Responsibilities

• Performs elementary architectural assignments under supervision.
• Compiles data and prepares working drawings on small-scale projects.
• Assists in preliminary studies to determine space and design requirements.
• Researches, gathers, and records information for specifications.
• Performs basic analyses of design, planning and occupancy studies.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
