Job summary

HNTB invites civil/structural or architectural engineering interns to join our team for Summer 2027 across Los Angeles, Seattle, and Kansas City. You will assist engineering teams, contribute to research and design, and help prepare drawings and documents under guidance.

Relocation/housing are not provided. Ideal candidates are currently enrolled in an undergrad or master's program in Civil, Structural, or Architectural Engineering with pref.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent plus current enrollment in an accredited post-secondary engineering program.
• Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or master's program in Civil, Structural, or Architectural Engineering, or has completed at least three years in a similar program with a structural focus.
• Course work in structural analysis and material design such as steel and/or concrete

Responsibilities

• Assists engineer teams in various tasks and duties.
• Assists Engineer with research, development and design of projects.
• Assists Engineer with the preparation of engineering drawings and documents as assigned.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
