Job summary

American Structurepoint is seeking Spring Co-ops/Interns in our Architecture Group in the Indianapolis, IN Design Center. This co-op runs January 4, 2027 to May 10, 2027 and provides exposure to high-profile real-life projects, mentorship, and professional development within a collaborative firm culture.

You will support project teams under supervision, prepare and modify architectural drawings, develop 2D/3D presentation drawings, and build a digital portfolio while exploring potential

Qualifications

• Enrolled in an accredited Bachelor’s or Master’s program in Architecture.
• Completed at least two years of architectural education.
• Portfolio showcasing academic and/or professional work required.

Responsibilities

• Assist project team under supervision of Project Manager or Architect.
• Prepare/modify architectural documents, elevations, sections, details using REVIT.
• Develop design/technical solutions following established standards.
• Prepare 2D and 3D presentation drawings.
• Support client service and learn the profession of architecture.
• Perform duties to meet commitments.
• Other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Provide assistance to the project team as instructed by and under the direct supervision of the Project Manager or Architect.
• Prepare and modify architectural documents, elevations, sections, details, etc. as directed by others utilizing REVIT.
• Develops solutions to design and technical problems following established standards.
• Prepares 2D and 3D presentation/design drawings.
• Fosters a commitment to external and internal client service with a focus on learning the profession of architecture.
• Perform duties in a timely manner in order to maintain established commitments.
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an accredited Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program in Architecture or a related field and completed at least two years of architectural education (junior level standing or higher is preferred).
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and present ideas clearly.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks, be curious, engaged with others and eager to learn.
• Basic to intermediate proficiency in architectural software such as Revit, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
• Must provide a digital portfolio showcasing academic and/or professional work.
