Job summary

A8 Core is seeking a Chief Architect to own the long-term technology vision and architecture strategy for the platform that powers millions of accounts and trillions of transactions. The role leads architectural governance, cloud strategy, security architecture, AI governance, and platform modernization initiatives.

Remote (United States) role reporting to the CEO, with responsibility to drive modernization, security, reliability, and cross-team engineering excellence across the entire platform.

Qualifications

• 20+ years of software engineering experience.
• 15+ years in architecture leadership roles.
• Experience building large-scale SaaS platforms.
• Experience operating regulated financial systems.

The Chief Architect is the senior-most technical leader within A8 Core™.

This role owns the long-term technology vision, architecture strategy, engineering standards, architecture governance, cloud strategy, security architecture, AI architecture, and platform modernization roadmap.

The Chief Architect serves as the steward of the platform’s future and ensures that technology decisions made today continue to support customers, regulators, operators, and developers for the next decade and beyond.
