Iconica invites you to join our Architectural Technician Intern program in Summer 2027 in Madison, WI. You will work with our architectural team to gain hands-on experience from concept through construction documents.

You\'ll collaborate across design and construction, attend client meetings, visit sites, and develop skills in Revit/BIM360, schematic design, and project coordination while growing professionally in a collaborative, supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Enrollment in an Architectural Technology or Architecture program.
• Previous internship experience in design-build, construction, or architecture (preferred).
• Familiarity with Revit or BIM360 (preferred).
• Leadership experience in student organizations or extracurriculars.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Initiative, curiosity, and an eagerness to learn.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with schematic design, design development, and construction documents.
• Collaborating with engineering and construction teams to support project coordination and help keep projects on schedule and within budget.
• Attending client meetings and assisting with the development of presentations.
• Participating in site visits to observe construction progress and see how designs are implemented in the field.
