Job summary

Gray AES in Lexington, KY is seeking an Architectural Tech I to join our office. You will prepare architectural plans under design managers, integrate engineering elements, and produce contract documents for clients and subcontractors.

Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor's in Architecture with 2–5 years of experience, are proficient in Revit, and able to work on-site in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture and 2–5 years of experience.
• Experience designing in Revit is highly preferred and producing architectural drawings is required.
• Basic computer skills including word processing, spreadsheets, email; physically present in an office.

Responsibilities

• Prepares architectural plans as directed by design managers and assists design managers in construction administration activities.
• Assists with layout of project and integrates engineering elements into unified design for review and approval.
• Prepares scale drawings and contract documents for customers, construction personnel, sub-consultants, and design-build subcontractors.
• May assist design managers in administration, review, and coordination of project submittals.
• May periodically assist design managers in conducting on-site observation of work during construction to monitor compliance with plans.
• Prepares studies and reports; uses computer aided design software to develop project designs and plans.
