Job summary

Gray AES is seeking an Architectural Tech I to join our office in Charlotte, NC or Lexington, KY. You will prepare architectural plans, assist design managers, and contribute to construction administration activities, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's degree in Architecture with 2–5 years of experience, is proficient in Revit, and capable of producing architectural drawings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture and 2 to 5 years of experience.
• Experience designing in Revit and producing architectural drawings.
• Basic computer skills including word processing, spreadsheets, design software and email.

Responsibilities

• Prepares architectural plans as directed by design managers and assists design managers in construction administration activities.
• Assists with layout of project and integrates engineering elements into unified design for customer review and approval.
• Prepares scale drawings and contract documents for customers, construction personnel, sub-consultants, and design-build subcontractors.
• May assist design managers in administration, review, and coordination of project submittals.
• May periodically assist design managers in conducting on-site observation of work during construction to monitor compliance with plans.
• Prepares studies and reports.
• Prepares project designs and plans using computer assisted design software and equipment.
