Gray AES is seeking an Architectural Tech I to join our Dallas, TX or Lexington, KY office. The candidate will support architecture teams with plans, drawings, and coordination across disciplines in a collaborative environment.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s degree in Architecture with 2–5 years of experience, has strong skills in producing architectural drawings, and is proficient with Revit. This role requires on-site presence at Gray AES offices.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture is required or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 2 to 5 years of experience in architecture.
• Experience designing with Revit is highly preferred and necessary for producing architectural drawings.

Responsabilidades

• Prepares architectural plans as directed by design managers and assists design managers in construction administration activities.
• Assists with layout of project and integrates engineering elements into unified design for customer review and approval.
• Prepares scale drawings and contract documents for customers, construction personnel, sub-consultants, and design-build subcontractors.
• May assist design managers in administration, review, and coordination of project submittals.
• May on occasion assist design managers in on-site observation of work during construction to monitor compliance with plans.
• Prepares studies and reports.
• Prepares project designs and plans using computer aided design software and equipment.

Qualifications

Who we want…

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture and 2 to 5 years of experience; or the equivalent combination of both education and experience.
• Experience designing in Revit is highly preferred and experience producing architectural drawings is required.
• Basic computer skills including the ability to utilize word processing, spreadsheets, design software and e-mail.
• Physically present in a Gray office.
