Job summary

Schwickert's Tecta America in Lawrence, KS is seeking an Architectural Sheet Metal Project Manager who will oversee sales development, project management, and day-to-day operations impacting profitability and reputation.

You will lead sales, cost estimation, shop drawing coordination with CAD, and ensure on-time project delivery while coordinating with field crews, suppliers, and subcontractors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Construction Management or related field; 3+ years experience preferred.
• Experience in architectural sheet metal and commercial wall cladding preferred.
• Knowledge of building envelopes is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and track sales leads; promote department services with other departments.
• Estimate job costs and present proposals for review.
• Manage projects to meet schedules and costs; ensure rapid close-out.
• Oversee shop drawing/submittal process with CAD department for accuracy.
• Direct field production and quality control of installed products.
• Track labor and material costs; set up projects; process invoicing.
• Resolve disputes with clients and address inquiries promptly.
• Collaborate with prime and subcontractors on all project phases.
