Job summary

Schwickert’s Tecta America is seeking an Architectural Sheet Metal Project Manager responsible for marketing and acquiring architectural sheet metal/wall cladding sales, as well as managing all aspects of project sales and day-to-day operations impacting profitability and reputation. Starting pay ranges from $75k-125K+ per year based on experience and qualifications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Construction Management or related field with 3+ years in architectural sheet metal.
• Experience in architectural sheet metal or wall cladding preferred.
• Ability to read complex instructions and present information clearly.
• Knowledge of project estimating software, Excel, Access and Word.

Responsibilities

• Develops and tracks sales, sales leads, and promotes department services; coordinates with other departments to boost sales and production.
• Estimates job costs and presents proposals for review.
• Manages projects to meet schedules and costs; ensures rapid close-out and turnover.
• Oversees shop drawing/submittal process with CAD department for detailed shop drawings.
• Directs field production and quality control of installed products.
• Oversees shop fabrication and quality control of fabricated products.
• Assists in developing long-term plans for growth of the department.
• Purchases materials and manages inventory control.
• Handles invoicing, billings, and payroll/timecards for projects; resolves client disputes.
• Maintains equipment, vehicles and company policies.
