Job summary

Schwickert's Tecta America in Minnesota is seeking an Architectural Sheet Metal Project Manager. The role focuses on marketing architectural sheet metal and wall cladding, managing sales-generated projects, and day-to-day operations impacting profitability.

Essential duties include sales development, cost estimation, project management, shop drawings, and quality control across fabrication and field operations. A related bachelor's degree and 3+ years of experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Construction Management or related field.
• Three plus years related experience preferred.
• Experience in architectural sheet metal and commercial wall cladding is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develops and tracks sales and leads; promotes department services.
• Estimates job costs and presents proposals for review.
• Manages projects to meet schedules and costs; ensure close-out and turnover.
• Oversees shop drawing/submittal process with CAD for detailed shop drawings.
• Directs field production and quality control of installed products.
• Oversees shop fabrication and quality control of fabricated products.
• Tracks and controls labor and material costs of jobs.
• Works with prime and subcontractors on all project phases.
