Job summary
Clark Roofing Company is actively seeking an experienced Commercial Architectural Sheet Metal Worker to join our Chicago-area team. You will fabricate, install, and finish architectural sheet metal systems across commercial, industrial, and institutional buildings, collaborating with roofing crews and project teams to meet exacting specifications.
You will read drawings, perform precise layout, cutting, forming, and soldering of various metals, and contribute to safe, high-quality workmanship on
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in commercial architectural sheet metal fabrication and installation.
- Proficiency with fabrication of copings, flashings, gutters, downspouts, and custom components.
- Experience with standing seam, batten seam, or flat seam metal roofing systems is a plus.
- Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings and shop drawings.
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and sheet metal fabrication equipment.
- Experience with soldering, seaming, and metal forming techniques.
Responsibilities
- Fabricate, install, and repair architectural sheet metal components including copings, gutters, downspouts, flashings, fascias, soffits, gravel stops, expansion joints, and custom trim pieces.
- Install sheet metal roofing systems including standing seam, batten seam, and flat seam applications.
- Read and interpret architectural drawings, shop drawings, and project specifications.
- Perform layout, cutting, forming, and soldering of sheet metal materials.
- Coordinate with roofing crews to ensure proper integration of sheet metal and roofing systems.
