Job summary

This territory includes locations in Canada and the U.S.POSITION REQUIREMENTS:Provides Technical Support to the Architectural and Engineering communitiesAssists Sales by providing product specific technical informationAssures H&B products are specified through direct marketing with A/E firmsUses programs including but not limited to Dodge, BSD Speclive to research project leadsFollows up with project leads provided by othersHelps Contractors submit substitution requests when necessary to the project requirementsReviews project specifications and drawingsProvides educational programs to firms, Associations, conferences, etc. as approved by department DirectorAttends Architecturally focused trade shows as H&B representativeAttends appropriate regional or chapter meetings of professional organizations including but not limited to Construction Specifications Institute, American Institute of Architects, etc.Reports industry intelligence to assist with product developmentSite visits as required to verify product installation, provide instructions, or confer with Project ArchitectTravel up to 50% of the timePerform additional assignments and projects as directed by management.QUALIFICATIONS AND COMPETENCIES:3-5 years of industry related experienceConstruction Management college degree preferredCertification of Construction Document Technologist by the Construction Specifications Institute or similar, preferred Required ExperienceProficient in Microsoft OfficeStrong written and verbal communication skillsAbility to present to large groupsAbility to travel to project sites and trade showsValid passport and driver’s licenseYou must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
