Job summary

DLR Group, an integrated design firm, seeks an Architectural Project Manager for its Phoenix Studio in the Industrial/Workplace sector. The role will oversee multiple projects, manage teams and consultants, and ensure schedules, budgets, and quality are met.

The position offers a hybrid work model balancing office time and remote work. You will oversee financial performance and client communications, driving design excellence from concept through construction while collaborating with design

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Architecture, Engineering, or Interior Design.
• Minimum of 8 years of professional experience, including 3 years as a project manager.
• Professional licensure preferred, but not required.
• Proficient in Vantagepoint, Planifi, INDEPRO, and Microsoft Suite (including Project).
• High proficiency in standard A/E/I/P software.
• Strong knowledge of design techniques, tools, and sustainable design principles for producing technical plans, drawings, and models.
• Excellent written, verbal, and graphic communication skills.
• Working knowledge of local building and zoning codes.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of one or more projects from start to finish.
• Coordinate with external consultants and internal teams to meet schedules, budgets, and fees.
• Maintain high standards of quality and design excellence throughout the project lifecycle.
• Ensure financial success of the project and adherence to budget.
• Support business development by participating in RFQ, RFP, and interview processes.
• Prepare and negotiate scope of services, fees, and agreements with clients and consultants.

• Develop comprehensive project plans with schedules, milestones, and staffing.
