Your Opportunity

The San Francisco office has an opening for a Project Manager across diverse project sectors. The Project Manager role involves both client-facing and team-facing responsibilities and has tremendous growth potential.

Your Key Responsibilities
  • Preferred experience in the following markets: Academic, Healthcare, Mission Critical, Manufacturing, or Science & Technology
  • Forecast and organize project team for design, development, production and project document delivery
  • Coordinate with consultants, team members and the client
  • Successfully execute projects by following Stantec's and Owner’s protocols and procedures in order to reach the best solution
  • Develop strong client, consultant and collaborator relationships
  • Understand budget, code and jurisdictional requirements
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to project team
  • Collaborate on project fee development and project proposals
Your Capabilities and Credentials
  • Experience with all multiple project sizes, with a concentration in large projects
  • Skilled in architecture and detailing skills as well as proficient in construction administrative processes
  • Proven effectiveness coordinating with contractors, architectural teams, and consultants
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Successful at leading and organizing a team of multiple disciplines and consultants
  • Confident with public speaking and networking
  • Excellent writing skills
  • Analytical thinker with strong problem‑solving skills
  • Detail oriented and organized with proven experience in managing multiple projects simultaneously
  • Available for occasional travel within the US
Education and Experience

A minimum of 10 years' experience in complex projects.

Degree in engineering, architecture or a related field from an accredited university.

Typical office environment working with computers and remaining sedentary for long periods of time. Field work may include exposure to the elements including inclement weather.

Pay Range
  • Locations in NYC & CA (Bay Area) & NJ (RP) – $127,400.00 – $191,100.00 Annually
Benefits Summary

Regular full-time and part‑time employees (working at least 20 hours per week) have access to medical, dental, and vision plans, a wellness program, health saving accounts, flexible spending accounts, 401(k) plan, employee stock purchase program, life and accidental death & dismemberment (AD&D) insurance, short‑term/long‑term disability plans, emergency travel benefits, tuition reimbursement, professional membership fee coverage and paid family leave. Regular full-time and part‑time employees will receive ten paid holidays in each calendar year. In addition, employees will be eligible to accrue vacation between 10 and 20 days per year and eligible for paid sick leave (and if more generous, in accordance with state and local law).

Temporary/casual employees have access to 401(k) plans, employee stock purchase program, and paid leave, in accordance with state and local law.
