Job summary

CHA Consulting, Inc. is seeking an Architectural Project Manager to lead the delivery of complex sports and recreation projects across Savannah, GA; Charleston, SC; or Columbia, SC. You will guide multi-disciplinary teams from concept through construction, coordinating with architects, engineers, and planners.

You will build strong client partnerships, manage schedules and budgets, and drive excellence in project delivery while mentoring teams and contributing to CHA's growing Sports portfolio.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Architecture, Engineering, Science, Planning, Engineering Management, or related field required.
  • Minimum of 9 years of building design, construction, or construction management experience required, including 6 years of project management experience.
  • Ability to manage multi-disciplinary teams and construction administration.
  • Demonstrated experience managing client relationships, understanding contract requirements, and overseeing multiple concurrent projects.
  • Proven experience preparing proposals, project plans, extra work authorizations, and project closeout documents required.
  • Experience managing project accounting processes—forecasting, budgeting, revenue, and cash flow required.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite required; knowledge of MS Project or Deltek VantagePoint preferred.
  • Revit and/or AutoCAD experience preferred.
  • Articulate communicator capable in one-on-one and large-group settings.
  • Ability to travel as needed.
  • PMP certification, PE license, or RA license preferred.
  • Consulting/construction management experience highly preferred.

  • Lead proposal development and establish project scopes, schedules, and budgets with design teams.
  • Serve as primary client partner, building trusted relationships and ensuring goals are achieved from concept to completion.
  • Develop Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) and direct planning and coordination across architects, engineers, planners, and specialty consultants.
  • Manage project schedules, deliverables, approvals, and quality control processes for successful execution.
  • Oversee project financial performance including budgeting, forecasting, revenue, and resources.
  • Lead contract administration, consultant coordination, and project documentation through all phases.
  • Facilitate project meetings and provide updates to clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Support marketing efforts and identify new opportunities to grow CHA's Sports portfolio.

CHA Consulting, Inc. is seeking an Architectural Project Manager to join our Sports Team in Savannah, GA; Charleston, SC; or Columbia, SC. In this pivotal role, you will guide the delivery of complex, high-profile projects ranging from athletic complexes and stadiums to parks, sports and recreation facilities, and community gathering spaces. Working alongside industry-leading designers and technical experts, you'll help shape the future of sports and recreation environments while growing client partnerships, mentoring project teams, and driving excellence from concept through construction.

What You'll Do
  • Lead proposal development and establish project scopes, schedules, and budgets in collaboration with architecture and multidisciplinary design teams
  • Serve as the primary client partner, building trusted relationships and ensuring project goals are achieved from concept through completion

What You'll Bring

Salary Range

$125,000 - $140,000

Salary is based on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, training, and fair market evaluation based on industry standards.
