Job summary

Farnsworth Group, Inc. is seeking an Architectural Project Manager to join our leadership team in Phoenix, AZ.

You will mentor Architects, lead business development, and guide multi-disciplinary teams from concept through delivery on major technology-driven projects. Ideal candidates have a NAAB-accredited degree, 8–12 years’ experience in design and planning, and a proven ability to develop project specifications and construction documents.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture is required; Master's preferred from a NAAB accredited university.
• 8–12 years of experience in architectural design and planning of facilities within core markets.
• Detailed understanding of construction techniques and development of final construction documents.
• Demonstrated experience developing project specifications and demonstrated project management/supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

• Create, manage and produce projects primarily for advanced technology market sector; other sectors include industrial, municipal, recreational, higher education, healthcare and institutional/ commercial clients.
• Provide the primary designer and leadership roles to multi-disciplinary teams throughout all stages, from concept to delivery.
• Mentor mid-level architectural staff.
• Participate in business development pursuits and generate work with long-term client relationships.
• Develop, review and approve proposals, reports and contract documents.

Farnsworth Group is seeking an Architectural Project Manager to join our leadership team in the posting location below. In this role, you will collaborate with other senior staff to mentor, inspire and guide our team of talented Architects, grow the practice through developing client relationships and lead business development opportunities within our current and potential market sectors.

What you'll Do:

• Create, manage and produce projects primarily for the booming advanced technology market sector. Additional market sectors with opportunities to support include: industrial, municipal, recreational, higher education, healthcare and other institutional and commercial clients.
• Provide the primary designer and leadership roles to our multi-disciplinary teams on projects throughout all stages, from concept to delivery.
• Mentor mid-level architectural staff
• Participate in business development pursuits.
• Generate work and create long-term client relationships.
• Developing, reviewing, and approving proposals, reports and contract documents.

What You’ll Need:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture, required; Masters preferred, from a NAAB accredited university
• 8-12 years of experience in architectural design and planning of facilities within core markets
• Detailed understanding of construction techniques and the development of final construction documents.
• Demonstrated experience developing project specifications.
• Demonstrated project management and supervisory experience.
