Job summary

Kamen Tall Architects P.C. is seeking an Architectural Project Manager to lead restoration, façade repair and adaptive reuse projects.

The role oversees the full project lifecycle, manages client relations, budgets, and teams, and ensures adherence to schedules and quality standards. The ideal candidate has 5–7 years in architectural project management, a degree in architecture or engineering, and licensure in progress.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5–7 years in architectural project management, with restoration/adaptive reuse focus.
• Professional degree in Architecture or Engineering; active licensure pursued (RA/PE preferred).
• NYC scaffolding certification and ability to work on fixed/suspended scaffolding and aerial lifts.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Adobe Suite; familiarity with PlanGrid/Procore; Revit a plus.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to present complex technical information clearly.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects within budget and schedule constraints.
• Strong leadership, collaboration, and mentoring skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead all phases from schematic design to construction, ensuring timelines, budgets and quality.
• Manage client relationships and coordinate with contractors, consultants, and stakeholders.
• Prepare and review construction documents, reports, and site inspections.
• Conduct field visits, scaffold inspections and quality control checks.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and project teams to meet milestones.
• Contribute to proposals, presentations and marketing materials.
• Mentor APMs and junior staff to support project needs.
• Ensure regulatory filings and codes compliance (e.g., NYC DOB, LPC).
