Pape-Dawson Engineers in Shreveport, LA is seeking a Project Designer III to support the planning, design, and documentation of complex architectural projects under the direct supervision of a licensed architect.

You will translate design concepts into detailed presentation and construction documents, perform site planning, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams while adhering to building codes and client needs.

Formación

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture from an accredited program.
• 2+ years of professional architectural experience.
• Familiarity with sustainable design practices preferred.
• Ability to work independently and with a multidisciplinary team.
• Proficiency with Revit, AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, and MS Office.

Responsabilidades

• Lead or support the development of creative, client-focused design concepts.
• Prepare, modify, and update architectural drawings using Revit and AutoCAD.
• Translate design concepts into detailed presentation and construction documents.
• Conduct programming, site planning, and schematic design using 2D/3D modeling tools.
• Apply building codes and zoning requirements to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Interface with clients to present design ideas and resolve design-related issues.
• Collaborate with project teams, consultants, and other disciplines to coordinate design solutions.
• Support or lead construction administration activities, including reviewing submittals, RFIs, and change directives.
• Develop material sample boards and visual presentations for internal and client use.
• Stay informed on building construction methods, graphic standards, and industry best practices.
• Research materials and systems to support design and documentation quality.
