Galloway & Company, Inc. seeks a collaborative architect to guide projects from concept through construction. You’ll serve as a trusted advisor to clients, lead contract administration, review shop drawings, and ensure designs stay true to the vision.

This role emphasizes building strong client relationships, delivering accurate construction documents, coordinating with multidisciplinary teams, and advancing high-quality, sustainable design across government and institutional projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor in Architecture or Environmental Design required.
• Minimum 5 years in architectural field.
• Experience with government or institutional projects preferred.
• Strong understanding of building systems and construction processes.
• Knowledge of permitting and code standards.
• Able to coordinate multiple parties and manage schedules.
• Proficient in Revit, AutoCAD, and Adobe Creative Cloud.
• Experience with project budgeting and contracts administration.

Responsibilities

• Develop conceptual and schematic design packages.
• Coordinate with clients during construction.
• Review shop drawings and submittals.
• Specify materials and verify code compliance.
• Administer construction contracts and manage construction phase.
• Monitor construction documents for compliance.
• Support business development and client relationship growth.
• Apply full-spectrum development approach across disciplines.
