Job summary

Hendrick Manufacturing in Carbondale, PA is seeking an Architectural Product Designer / Estimator who will transform architectural intent into real-world products, reading blueprints, performing takeoffs, and preparing detailed quotations.

This hybrid remote role collaborates with Architects, Production, Engineering, Sales and subcontractors to develop designs from concept to finished product and ensure responsive, accurate estimates.

Qualifications

• Read and interpret complex architectural blueprints and create accurate takeoffs.
• Strong knowledge of sheet metal fabrication processes.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Familiarity with fabrication equipment such as shears, brakes, CNC punch, lasers, welders, etc.
• Strong mathematical computation skills.
• Excellent computer skills (including Excel proficiency).
• Strong interpersonal, telephone, and presentation skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively across multiple organizational levels.
• Solid understanding of general office procedures.
• Ability to work independently with limited supervision.
• Sound decision-making skills within policy guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Exercise sound judgment within company policies while working independently.
