Jones Sign is seeking a Custom Metal Fabricator/Welder in Green Bay, WI. The role involves reading blueprints, selecting materials, cutting, forming, welding aluminum or steel, and assembling components to meet client specifications.

The position emphasizes quality control, safety compliance, and collaboration within a fast-paced, projects-based environment for national high-profile installations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ years’ fabrication experience (steel, aluminum preferred).
• Welding abilities: MIG, flux core, aluminum, TIG, and/or stick.
• Ability to operate a wide range of hand and power tools.
• Strong work ethic and reliability.
• Ability to read a tape measure.
• Good organizational skills.
• Certified welding certification a plus.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints and assembly instructions.
• Verify dimensions and product specifications.
• Select materials per work orders.
• Cut, form, and weld parts to specifications (MIG focused).
• Finish parts by grinding, polishing, and cleaning for paint.
• Run electrical wiring and install lighting as applicable.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
• Demonstrate teamwork to maintain production flow.
