Job summary

Oldcastle BuildingEnvelope is seeking a Metal Fabricator in the United States to fabricate architectural metals using pneumatic tools for storefront doors and frames. Typical schedule is Monday–Thursday 5:30 am–4:00 pm, with emphasis on safety and quality.

You will read job specs, set up machines, measure dimensions, and maintain a clean, organized work area while following all safety procedures. Teamwork and reliability are essential as you contribute to projects across diverse facilities.

Qualifications

• Follow all safety policies & procedures as a prerequisite to employment.
• Able to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
• Able to write and do basic math
• Basic computer skills or willing to learn
• Must be able to read a tape measure
• Must be able to work well with others

Responsibilities

• Promote and enforce a safe work environment
• Read job specifications to determine machine adjustments and material requirements
• Measure work piece dimensions for accuracy
• Maintain a clean, organized work area
• Demonstrate basic mechanical aptitude
• Perform minor workstation fabrication
• Work with minimal supervision
• Read/interpret hardware templates
• Maintain regular, on-time attendance and safety compliance
