Job summary

MG2 Design in Seattle, WA is seeking an Architectural Job Captain to lead the development and execution of construction documents for Client Programs projects. You will guide internal teams and coordinate with consultants across design phases, deliverables, and QA/QC to ensure design intent and code compliance.

You will oversee project coordination, submittals, site visits, and close-out activities, contributing to successful project delivery and client satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture or a related field.
• 6+ years of experience in a professional architecture or design firm.
• Proficiency with Revit, AutoCAD, and MS Office.
• Experience using collaboration software such as Bluebeam, Miro, and Teams.
• Experience coordinating architectural construction documents; involvement with various project types.
• Experience in construction administration including RFI/submittal review and close-out.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the production and coordination of contract deliverables including field surveys and construction documents.
• Ensure completeness of work aligned with contract and design intent, and coordinate consultants.
• Collaborate with internal staff to integrate deliverables into contract documents.
• Coordinate submittals to AHJ and manage site-specific submittal processes.
• Provide QA/QC reviews of deliverables and support project close-out activities.
• Produce accurate project documentation, meeting agendas/minutes, and trackers.
