Job summary

TCA Architects, with studios in Irvine, Los Angeles, Oakland and Honolulu, seeks a Job Captain to lead design development, C.D. prep and team coordination for multifamily and mixed-use projects.

Proficiency in Revit and knowledge of construction techniques are essential. The candidate should have a Bachelor’s in Architecture, 4–6 years of architectural experience (2–4 years in multifamily), and a California license or on-track status preferred.

Qualifications

• 4–6 years architectural experience with 2–4 years on multifamily projects.
• 4–6 years Revit experience required.
• 2 years construction administration experience preferred.
• Knowledge of building construction types I, II, III, V.
• Strong understanding of IBC, CBC and disabled access requirements.

Responsibilities

• Design development for multifamily and mixed-use projects.
• Prepare Construction Documents and coordinate with the project team.
• Coordinate with consultants and review drawings for accuracy.
• Mentor junior staff and support licensure path.
